This bas relief is about 12 inches in diameter and one inch thick. She's the first bas relief I've created in many, many years, and I discovered I really like bas relief!

The bronze effect is created by bonding bronze dust with the polyurethane resin in the casting process. You have probably heard the terms "bonded bronze" or "cold cast bronze." They all refer to this type of material.
